Seemingly unstoppable and highly customizable, the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco is putting an entirely new spin on rugged performance. Like the Broncos of old, the upcoming sixth-generation models have a distinctive retro flair, inside and out. Unlike the vintage versions, however, these off-road-ready SUVs are also outfitted with a ton of high-tech gear, from infotainment to safety to cutting-edge performance upgrades.

Power & Performance
The all-new Ford Bronco is never short on power. Choose from two cutting-edge powertrains to get you going:
- Standard 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine (270 horsepower, 310 pound-feet of torque) + standard seven-speed manual transmission with crawler gear (or optional 10-speed automatic transmission with Trail Control)
- Optional 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine (310 horses, 400 lb.-ft.) + 10-speed automatic transmission with Trail Control
The 2021 Bronco is the only SUV in the segment to offer a seven-speed manual transmission, a feature that promises endless fun for driving enthusiasts. One of its seven gears is a dedicated crawl gear, optimizing performance in especially rough off-road territory.
Note that the base engine is available with either the manual or automatic transmission, but the optional engine upgrade only comes with the automatic transmission.
Off-Road Cruising
One of the Bronco’s main draws is of course its outstanding off-road capabilities. To start, every Bronco includes rugged four-wheel-drive performance to help you navigate soft surfaces and a long list of hardware upgrades—from a disconnecting front stabilizer bar to Bilstein shocks, which will help you travel just about anywhere.

Towing Capabilities
Properly equipped, the 2021 Ford Bronco can tow up to 3,500 pounds, which is the equivalent of a couple of four-wheelers, Jet Skis, or a decent-sized speed boat. Which of course is great news for outdoor-loving drivers with rugged toys at home.

Safety, Security, and Technology
It might look and feel retro, but the 2021 Bronco tech lineup is as cutting-edge as it gets. Besides performance gears designed to help you get the most out of your adventure, this SUV also throws advanced infotainment and driver safety aids into the mix.
To start, the Bronco is rolling out Ford’s new Sync 4 infotainment system, with its fast-acting touch-screen interface and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. The navigation system even works off-road, giving you trail recommendations as well as the power to save your own adventures in the system.
In addition to the usual safety features, the Bronco adds systems designed to help you navigate rugged terrain. For instance, the Trail Control system includes a low-speed cruise control feature, providing steady acceleration and leaving you to focus on steering. The Trail Turn Assist feature brakes inside the wheel while the Bronco pivots around it, creating very sharp turns indeed.
